Privacy & Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-29

azmth.space is a free, browser-based real-time satellite tracker. The site has no user accounts, no commercial activity, no payment processing, and no email infrastructure. This page describes our anti-spam policy and how the site handles data.

Anti-Spam Policy

The azmth.space website does not send or authorize any unsolicited commercial email, bulk email, transactional email, or marketing email of any kind.

  • ·The domain operates no outbound email infrastructure: no SMTP servers, no mailing lists, no newsletters, no marketing automation, no transactional email, and no email-based notifications.
  • ·We do not engage affiliates, third parties, or marketing services to promote the website via email.
  • ·Any unsolicited message referencing azmth.space is sent without the knowledge or authorization of the website's owner.
  • ·To report abuse or unauthorized use of the azmth.space URL in email, see the abuse contact page.

Data Collection

  • ·No user accounts, no login, no sign-up forms.
  • ·No personal data is stored on our servers. Satellite positions are computed entirely client-side in your browser using the SGP4/SDP4 propagation model.
  • ·Optional geolocation: if you grant browser permission, your coordinates are used to compute overhead satellite passes. They stay in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers.
  • ·Reverse geocoding: if you use the location feature, the coordinates may be sent to a third-party geocoding service to resolve a human-readable city name. No identifying information is included in this request.
  • ·Analytics: Google Analytics 4 is used to count anonymous page views and understand which features are useful. No personally identifying information is collected.

Third-Party Data Sources

Orbital data displayed on the site is fetched from public sources:

  • ·CelesTrak — public General Perturbations (GP) satellite catalogs.
  • ·Space-Track.org — 18th Space Control Squadron catalog data (fallback).
  • ·NASA Visible Earth — Blue Marble Earth textures (public domain).

Cookies

azmth.space uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count unique visitors. The site itself uses browser localStorage to remember your display and accessibility preferences (theme contrast, paused state, etc.). No tracking cookies are set by the site directly.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
